Description
Crotty's Award Winning Pub, Restaurant, and B&B is located in Kilrush town. Crotty's has been approved in 2011 under Ireland’s first National Pub Accreditation scheme aimed at ensuring quality Irish pubs are recognised and promoted both at home and abroad (in conjunction with Failte Ireland). It is an Authentic 19th Century pub with pitch pine contours and ornate tiled floors. Crotty's has established a great reputation for serving quality food, accommodation, and Traditional Music sessions in Summertime.
A tradition of warmth and hospitality dating back to 1914 continues today at Crotty's. The pub with its old mellowed woodwork, ornate tiled floor, pitch pine counters, original plate glass mirrors, shelves and walls filled with interesting and historical material are a delight to the eye.
Divided into separate and distinct areas, one can enjoy 'the kitchen' complete with skillet pots and black vice regal range, make your way into the 'store' or 'tap' rooms or stay put in the 'public bars' and for those who have never frequented a 'snug' before you can relax in the privacy of a time gone by.
Crotty's roots are firmly established in the traditional music of Mrs. Crotty and the vision of her husband Miko for creating this gem. Mindful of this heritage we have garnered a great name for serving fine food and beverages, excellent guest accommodation and the best of Irish music.
Crotty's B&B features 6 ensuite bedrooms, with bathroom or shower. Each bedroom has been individually decorated with fine fabrics and antique furniture. The bedrooms are both comfortable and furnished in a period style. We offer a choice of single, double or queen beds.
A private sitting room and breakfast room enhances our guests comfort Check in from 2pm daily. Cancellations - where possible - if one could allow us 2 days notice.
Since taking over we have developed our food trade and offer differentiated menus for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Sunday lunch. We can offer a private dining room to groups of 20 or less, perfect for Birthday, Anniversary or any celebratory events
