The Dooley family took over Brady's Bar in 2000. Dating back to 1884, the original signage still remains over the old bar.
The premises underwent major extension and renovation in the last couple of years. Dooleys of Edmondstown, incorporating the Granary Bar, Harvest Restaurant and Kavanagh Corner proudly opened its doors in November 2009. We also opened our brand new function room in December 2010 available for all types of functions and parties.
The interior is traditional with an abundance of old world charm, from parquet flooring and luxe leather armchairs to the original fireplace taken from the home of the engineer of the Titanic. The premises are divided into distinct areas with an overall feeling of cosiness and yet a sense of spaciousness.
The kitchen is headed up by renowned chef, Kieran Bagnall. The dynamic kitchen team combine their culinary skills to deliver the highest quality food all day, every day. Dooleys serves food all day including a very popular carvery lunch with a snack menu. Then we serve a high-tea menu that caters for all needs served until 9.45pm(8.45 on Sundays). We also serve a new E25.00 four course set menu from Monday to Friday.
