Located beside the bridge in the heart of town, The Liffey Arms (or Johnsons' as it's often called) is one of Newbridge's most popular and well established pubs.

You can also hire our beautiful lounge FREE OF CHARGE as a private function room for all social occasions, from birthdays to pub quizzes to hen parties! We can provide you with a range of food options and a band or DJ if you need one!
The Liffey Arms has been owned and run by the Johnson family for over 40 years. The late John Johnson, a passionate horse racing and GAA man, made it famous as a sports lover's pub.
Now run by John's wife Rose and daughter Catherine, we continue to attract fans of all sports and we show all major events on our state-of-the-art plasma screens.
It's also a pub for music lovers, with a traditional music session every Friday night and a live band every Sunday night.
