The Planet is the biggest leisure complex in Cork. Opened in 2005 we offer something for all the family. Our facilities include: Bar & Catering, Tenpin Bowling, Cosmo's Fun World, American Pool and Simulators. We also have a Health Club with swimming pool, sauna & steam room.
Are we the biggest pub in Ireland? Our bar is located near the Tenpin Bowling and American Pool, leading to a great vibrant atmosphere. The latest sounds on our nightclub sound system complete the package.
We really are a unique "pub". We have parking for 400 cars, a panoramic smoking room, draught beer, swimming pool, baby changing area, even an electric chair - what a mix!
We cater for everything from school tours (bowling, playcentre and food) to fundraising events. Bowling fundraisers are very popular along the lines of a golf classic - you can enjoy a drink as you scatter teh pins and more importantly, raise funds by supporting your local group.
We are located only a 5 minute drive from Cork City Centre and as a result are a popular destination for Hens, Stags, Company Nights Out and so on.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Located within a 10 minute walk of Blackpool Shopping Centre we provide a welcom distraction for the children (big and small) and a break from the hustle bustle.
