ABOUT US
Quinlan’s lounge just half a mile away from the location where the world famous song ‘It’s a long way to Tipperary’ was born should not be missed by any visitor to our historic town.
Proprietor Ian Quinlan is a cousin of Alan Quinlan, famous and now retired Munster and Irish Rugby player. Renowned for its unique atmosphere, it is well known as Tipperary Town’s premier meeting point for rugby enthusiasts, sports lovers in general and anybody who just wants to enjoy an excellent pint by the roaring open fire. Of course apart from rugby all major sporting events can be seen on our state of the art home cinema system and numerous TV’s throughout the pub.
If you are lucky you might meet one of the old locals who will gladly give you a run down on Tipperary Town’s history or might even be able to help you with information on tracing your ancestors.
You want to throw your own party – birthday, anniversary, christening etc.? We will cater for your occasion. Tell us what you want to do for your party and Ian can arrange it! We also offer a price list for outside catering deals.
If you’re hungry why not choose from our delicious bar food menu from Monday to Friday’s with fresh homemade soups, sandwiches and light lunches for all tastes.
