The Kylemore Pass Hotel, a family run establishment, provides guests with a warm, friendly environment in which to relax after a day exploring the surrounding countryside. Ask owner and manager, Stuart, for details on popular walks and sightseeing trips.
The Sailors Bar, runner up in the Black & White Pub competition in 2003, is open to non – residents and is a popular haunt for both locals and visitors. The bar is a little "museum" in itself. Warm, cosy evenings around the stove are joyous, and if the accordionist, whistler and his friends on the guitar start their session, an unforgettable night is assured.
The Sailors Bar serves a range of bar meals and snacks, popular haunt of locals and visitors alike, which has a collection of very interesting memorabilia and bottled beers from all around the world.
Our restaurant has one of the most stunning views in Connemara, and offers appetising home-cooked meals using only the best local produce. Both the bar and restaurant menus include vegetarian dishes. The extensive wine list gives a wide choice of fine wines. Parties are also catered for.
The eleven bedrooms are warm and comfortable; all are en suite with television, hair-dryers and tea/coffee-making facilities.
