About Us

The Dew Drop Inn, situated in the heart of Kill Village, Co. Kildare dates back to the 19th century and has been a licensed premises for over 50 years. The Dew Drop Inn has been approved in 2011 under Ireland’s first National Pub Accreditation scheme aimed at ensuring quality Irish pubs are recognised and promoted both at home and abroad (in conjunction with Failte Ireland). The building comprises of our public bar, 60 seater lounge/restaurant, a small function room and a Live Music Venue called The Late Lounge. The Dew Drop Inn has recently been approved under Ireland's first National Pub Accreditation scheme aimed at ensuring quality Irish pubs are recognised and promoted both at home and abroad (in conjunction with Fáilte Ireland)..

Our spacious bar caters for all crowds with live sport on five screens, two pool tables, smoking area and live music every weekend and a Trad Session every Thursday night.

Our 60 Seater restaurant, refurbished in 2008, has always served the best food using locally sourced produce. We serve a la carte seven days a week.

Lunch is served from 12pm -4pm daily Monday - Saturday

Evening a la Carte menu is from 4pm-9pm Monday - Thursday and 4pm-10pm Saturday & Sunday

The Dew Drop has become well know for it's Black Rock Grill , the cooking sensation that is cooking on hot stones. We have had this system since 2008 and it is a genuine taste sensation that has to be tried. It's a unique and very healthy way to eat steak as no fats or oils are used in the process.

Our restaurant has been nominated several times for the Restaurant Association of Ireland Awards 2010 & 201 in the gastropub section - something of which we take great pride. All our menus and deals can be found on our website www.dewdropinn.ie

Our function room, affectionately called "The Middle Room", can cater for up to 80 people for dinner and is available for functions of all kinds like christenings, weddings and 21st parties. It has a full bar and sound system.

The Late Lounge is our 250 capacity music venue which has a state of the art sound system and has played host to many high profile Irish and international acts such as Jack L, Cathy Davey, Paddy Casey, Aslan, Republic of Loose, Alabamma 3, Damien Dempsey and comedians such as Michael Winslow (Police Academy movies), Neil Delamare, PJ Gallagher, Ardal O'Hanlon and many more. The Late Lounge was nominated for Best Regional Music Venue in the 2009 and 2010 IMRO Music Awards.
