Established in 1608, Woodenbridge hotel is the oldest hotel in Ireland and has 22 well appointed bedrooms all ensuite & with complimentary Wireless access. The hotel overlooks the vale of Avoca and the amzing woodenbridge golf club.
Woodenbridge Lodge is the more modern part of the hotel, and is adjacent from the main hotel in wonderful landscaped gardens overlooking the Aughrim River. The Lodge Rooms have all the facilities of the main hotel, but are away from all the histle and bustle. Twenty of the rooms here have there very own balconies.
The Hotel also has a restaurant and a bar.
The Redmond Restaurant combines the best of contemporary dishes with traditional Irish. There is also an excellent wine cellar featuring a comprehensive range of good vintages from all over the world.
The Four Vales Bar is the centre of activity in the hotel; the walls are covered with a remarkable collection of photographs and memorabilia of the hotelm some dating back to Victorian times. An extensive bar food menu is served daily from 12.30 - 9pm and traditional Irish Sessions every thursday night.
