About Us
The Ragg- what an odd name! Yes, It's been used since the Civil War and that's one story! There's another one which involves Poitin but you'll have to call to hear them both! The area around us is steeped in history and is well worth a visit.
We cater for all occasions and groups of 1 to 1,000! We open 7 days a week and do food 7 days a week. Sunday Lunch is special. Menus can be tailored to your particular requirements. We endeavour at all times to provide additive- free food, 100% Irish, where possible, which is sourced locally, where possible. We have 4 function/meeting rooms for any size group. Gift Vouchers from The Ragg are very popular.
We are family owned and run. We, along with all the special people who work here, who are naturally friendly and hospitable, try hard to make The Ragg genuinely welcoming and informal for all our customers. A quiet drink or a fun-filled party, thats us. Oh - and did we mention the Craic!
